چکیده

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by high blood glucose level in the body. It occurs due to inadequate amount of insulin secreted body or resistance receptors. In present study, Baicalein flavone glycoside was evaluated for its effect on alpha-amylase and alpha-glucosidase enzymes using in-vitro assays extracting respective from whole wheat barley combination with in-silico analysis. In-vitro alpha amylase inhibitory activity glucosidase performed acarbose as standard drug. The molecular docking study Schrodinger (Maestro V 11.5) software. parameters glide score, Lipinski rule drug likeliness, bioactive scoring ADME properties were assessed study. Further, antioxidant baicalein DPPH assay, Nitric oxide scavenging activity. cytotoxicity Brine shrimp lethality assay. assay showed IC50 value 48.40 ?g/ml whereas an 16.03 ?g/ml. shows score of-5.565 5EOF -5.339 5NN8 highest percentage radical nitrous found be 27% at 160 50.02% respectively. Based further vivo clinical trials, may used management hyperglycaemia.
